Multimedia Consultant
Photography, Graphic Design, Website Management, Social Media, Email Marketing, Copy Editing
When I was a very small child, my favorite pastime was drawing. I drew for hours and went through reams of paper. As I got a little older, I progressed naturally to creating my own magazine layouts, fashion catalogs, and designing and sewing clothes for my dolls. Then I received a cassette recorder for my twelfth birthday and I discovered the world of sound production. I created my own “radio shows” by recording songs from the radio, acting as DJ, and adding my own commercials and newscasts. Around the same time, I received my first camera and ended up winning a school photography contest. While I didn’t realize it at the time, I was already on the path to the world of multimedia production.
It took meeting my husband, Jim Sundberg, in 1985 to put me back on this path after a few years of diversion. Jim was working as a freelance photographer and multimedia producer in San Francisco and needed an assistant. It was then I started doing professionally what had come so naturally as a child. Now after over 25 years, I can say without hesitation that I have, in one capacity or another, done it all. One thing I pride myself on is my ability to learn each new task, and the technology that goes with it, very quickly. I also pride myself on having a meticulous eye for a good photograph, well-written copy, and a creative layout.
